I’m working with an IT managed services client, seeking a Senior IT Technician to identify an outstanding person who thrives in a fast-paced, technically complex environment. This hybrid position blends remote autonomy with occasional field deployment, and calls for someone who can lead from the front.
🔍 Key Focus Areas
Escalation point for Level 1 technicians; solve high-complexity issues with confidence
Troubleshoot across hardware, software, networking, cloud (Microsoft 365, Azure, Duo, WHM, etc.)
Implement remote and on-site solutions, upgrades, and installations
Manage and monitor customer environments via RMM tools
Guide clients through infrastructure assessments, onboarding, and project migrations
Mentor junior techs and contribute to continuous improvement
Interface with vendors, manage ticket queues, and maintain SLA standards
📊 KPI Highlights
Ownership of ticket quality: follow-through, feedback, SLA compliance, and escalation
Daily system authentication and environment awareness across multiple platforms
Remote support using tools like TeamViewer, AnyDesk, Datto
Deployment and optimization of cloud-based systems
WHM & website management, firewall/networking changes, SSL assignments, cPanel support
Active contribution to NOC tasks, server buildouts, domain administration, Duo configuration
Tech-forward mindset: recommend new solutions, propose system improvements
Participate in regular team syncs and ensure technical documentation is clear and complete
