Maintenance Engineer 5-Shifts (Millwright) (€3900/month) & shift allowance
About Us:
We’re a family business with over 130 years of passion for delicious food, seeking talented engineers for our advanced production facility.
Your Role:
Maintain and optimize our 20 diverse production lines. You’ll be the technical specialist, resolving malfunctions, performing maintenance, and collaborating with the production team.
As a maintenance engineer, you are the technical specialist.
Your craftsmanship resolves malfunctions. You do this by performing maintenance, repair, adjustment, improvement, and tuning work on our complex machine lines. Besides executing tasks, you supervise contractors and collaborate with production employees to identify the causes of malfunctions.
Your broad technical experience and dedication make our machinery park more efficient, safer, and contribute to 100% quality.
Your ultimate goal is to ensure an optimally functioning machinery park, and you see it as your responsibility to achieve this together with your colleagues.
As a maintenance engineer, you will work in a 5-shift roster, which looks as follows: you start with 2 days in the morning (06:00 – 14:00), then 2 days in the afternoon (14:00 – 22:00), and finally 2 days at night (22:00 – 06:00). Subsequently, you have 4 days off after each cycle. This means you will occasionally work during weekends.
Requirements:
Versatile knowledge of mechanical and electrical systems
National Diploma in Mechatronics or relevant qualification
Bilingual in Afrikaans, willing to learn Dutch
Flexibility to work in a 5-shift system
