About the role:
A leading investment group is seeking a strategic Communications Manager to strengthen its brand and thought leadership within the asset management industry. Moreover, the successful candidate will translate complex investment concepts into clear, engaging content for diverse audiences. In addition, you’ll collaborate closely with senior leaders to deliver communications that inspire confidence and clarity. Ultimately, this role offers the opportunity to shape the narrative of a respected financial institution while driving innovation in corporate storytelling.
This senior role demands intellectual rigour, economic literacy, and the ability to translate complex investment concepts into compelling, precise content for sophisticated audiences.
Key Responsibilities
Develop and implement communication strategies aligned with business objectives and brand positioning.
Produce high‑quality, technically credible content, including CIO commentaries, white papers, stewardship reports, and leadership correspondence.
Partner with senior leaders, portfolio managers, and investment teams to craft clear, consistent messaging.
Integrate AI tools and emerging technologies to enhance content quality and workflow efficiency.
Lead internal communications initiatives that foster engagement, alignment, and a culture of openness and accountability.
Monitor communication effectiveness and identify opportunities for continuous improvement.
Qualifications & Experience
Degree in Communications, Journalism, Economics, Finance, Marketing, or related field (postgraduate qualification advantageous).
5–8 years’ experience in communications, corporate affairs, or investment content within financial services or asset management.
Proven ability to produce long‑form technical and investment content for institutional or sophisticated investor audiences.
Strong economic and investment literacy; experience with AI writing tools advantageous.
